roar-fetch

Will do a git pull from our GitHub repo and sync files you have access to to your rebelmouse folder (similar to git pull but without automatic merging, you just have new changes in your file after running this command).

Command can only be run on the master branch.

This command runs rsync in the background and it will overwrite your uncommitted changes. Before running it make sure that you don't have any changes on your master branch. Running git status should return you this message:

bregant@roar-beta-dev:~/rebelmouse: (master)$ git status
On branch master
Your branch is up-to-date with 'origin/master'.

nothing to commit, working directory clean

If you get different message, then there is a chance your changes will be overwritten.

We highly recommend to run it as often as possible. For example every day when you start working.

After roar-fetch please check if new changes have been fetched. If so, you need to push them to master.

git push origin master
